A first session to discuss creative work-in-progress.

These sessions will use the Critical Response Process to enable structured discussion, responses and feedback to practice-based research work in progress from colleagues across disciplines.

The first session will be an introduction to the Critical Response Process and a short presentation of work from Bryan Hawkins who will be the first artist to whose work the group will respond.

Lauren Redhead is Senior Lecturer in Music at Canterbury Christ Church University. She joined the University in August 2013 and teaches in the areas of composition, twentieth-century music, aesthetics, contemporary music performance practice and music analysis in the BMus, BA Music and MMus degrees.

She is the director of the University’s Contemporary Music Ensemble which is dedicated to performing music by living composers, including the visiting professors, staff and students of Canterbury Christ Church.
