Whether you\u2019re into movies, documentaries or full series, you can enjoy them all at no cost. And the best part? You don\u2019t need to be on campus \u2014 you can stream everything from home, the library, or wherever you like. All you need is your CCCU login and password!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BFI Player<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

BFI Player offers a treasure trove of hundreds of British and European independent films as well as international releases. You can discover rare and essential films from around the world as well as the best new, cult and classic screenings of films in one place.\u00a0The BFI Player\u2019s subscription collection includes hundreds of British and European independent films, as well as international releases. By registering for your account through our institutional subscription, you will gain access to a free subscription as well as exclusive collections such as \u2018Kermode introduces\u2019<\/a> and much more! \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accessing BFI Player<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re visiting BFI Player for the first time, you\u2019ll need to register<\/strong> before you can access the subscription. To do this, head to LibrarySearch<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 make sure you\u2019re logged in (you\u2019ll find the login option at the top right of the screen).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you\u2019re in, go to \u2018Find databases A\u2013Z<\/strong>\u2019 on the left-hand side and select \u2018B<\/strong>\u2019 for BFI Player. Instead of clicking straight into the resource, choose the \u2018Register here\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n

Once you\u2019ve registered, you won\u2019t need to do it again until the next academic year. After that, you can go straight to BFI Player via LibrarySearch<\/a> whenever you need it. If you\u2019re unsure about any part of the process, there\u2019s an online guide right next to the register button to help you out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Returning users to BFI Player\u00a0<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

If you already had registered last academic year you will need to resubscribe again this academic year. The\u00a0short video<\/a>\u00a0below is for those who have a BFI Player account from last year. It explains the simple steps to resubscribe so that you can start watching films again!<\/p>\n\n\n

You can search the collections by going to the search button at the top right of home screen.<\/p>\n\n\n
