Because Dimensions maps the entire research lifecycle, you can follow research from funding through output to impact.*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where does it take its sources from?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Publications<\/strong> &#8211; journal articles\/preprints\/edited books\/book chapters\/monographs relating to research, indexed via Crossref, PubMed, PubMed Central, <a href=\"http:\/\/arxiv.org\/\">arXiv.org e-Print archive<\/a> and more than 160 publishers directly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Datasets<\/strong> &#8211; stand-alone data sets and those associated with publications, from a variety of data repositories indexed via DataCite and figshare.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why use it?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use Dimenions to find articles for your research, discover datasets, and find the most highly cited journals and articles in your field.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do I use it?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dimensions.ai\/\" title=\"Dimensions\">https:\/\/www.dimensions.ai\/<\/a> then click on &#8216;Login&#8217; at the top right of the screen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will need to create your own username and password to create a free Dimensions account. *With a free account, you will only be able to access and view publications and datasets.
