The International Day of Happiness was created in 2013 as a way of reminding people of the importance of looking after ourselves and being happy.

Happiness is a great contributor to our overall well-being and can give us an overall feeling of contentment with life. It brings us joy, makes us smile and enables us to enjoy the things that are going on around us.

We can also bring happiness to others by looking out for, caring for and helping them in times of need; but don’t think this is the only time happiness counts, if you can bring happiness to someone during any time in their life, then it will have a benefit, to them and to you.
