#ShapeOurLibrary – Tuesday 5 March
The Library is always looking at ways to improve things for you and is holding an informal feedback session #ShapeOurLibrary on Tuesday 5 March 12-2pm, ground floor of Augustine House to hear your views. As a thank you there will be snacks provided!
You can drop by at any time between 12-2pm to have a chat and give your thoughts on what is and is not working well for you. We would also love to hear your ideas on how you think we can make things better!
It does not matter what you would like to talk about – whether it’s about the resources, borrowing, support, the space or the facilities – we want to get your opinions on it all. You may have one issue that if resolved could make all the difference or it might just be a number of small things that could make using the Library easier for you. So take this chance to have your say, your feedback is really important to us.
If you would like to take part but cannot make it on the day, you can join in the discussion via http://www.menti.com. We’ll be using the code be 28 05 4 on the day.
And don’t forget all students get a chance to have their say on Learning Resources and the whole University experience via the national Student Surveys.
Not sure if it will make a difference?
Last year students said this about the silent zone:
“We need more silent zones”
“I don’t like that there is only one Silent Zone.”
“People are always very loud in quiet zones.”
Over the summer we created a new silent zone on the second floor (east wing) of Augustine House.
Last year students said this about group working spaces:
“Would like group areas that you don’t need to book in advance”
“More space for group work and discussions. There’s not enough.”
“More space for group work/group chat”
“Too many Quiet Zones”
Over the summer we changed the quiet zone on the first floor to a group working zone.
What would you ask for at #ShapeOurLibrary?
