Help the Library to improve… become a Library Mystery Shopper!

Question marks

Would you like to help the library evaluate its front-line service?

Then sign up to be a Library mystery shopper!

Mystery shopping is a method organizations use to measure the quality of their services. After you’ve signed up, you’ll be directed to have an everyday transaction with the library, this could simply be a question at the library point or an enquiry by email or live chat and you’ll then let us know how we did via an online form:

  • Could we answer your question?
  • Was the staff member friendly?
  • Were you happy with the service you received?

If you felt something could be better, just let us know.

We are interested in finding out about your experiences of all aspects of the service provided through our frontline team, so you could ask a question about, but not limited to:

  • Finding a resource, such as a book or e-book
  • Borrowing or returning an item
  • Using LibrarySearch
  • Guidance on accessing alternative services such as the Learning Skills team

It won’t take more than 20-30 minutes of your time, but you’ll be providing us with essential data to improve and make our services better in the future. The only restriction is we ask that your staff interaction is during our library point staffed hours.

That’s not all though! We have £10.00 CCCU Bookshop vouchers to give away to the first 25 students who take part!

So don’t delay and sign up today. You’ll need to complete your visit by the end of April. You can register your interest on our online form and we’ll be in touch with everything you need for your mystery shopper experience.
