Importantly, SNAPP\u2019s work encompasses not only the needs of disabled children, but also the needs of their family members (e.g. parents and siblings).<\/p>\n<p>Currently, SNAAP do not systematically evaluate the services that they provide (e.g. toy library and clubs etc.).\u00a0 This project therefore helped in developing SNAAPs service evaluation by: 1) evaluating SNAAP\u2019s current summer youth scheme 2) identifying the overall impact and benefits of the scheme for children and their families and 3) explored the need for any new services that could be developed in the future.<\/p>\n<p>This project is being carried out by Dr. Liz Spruin (<a href=\"mailto:Liz.spruin@canterbury.ac.uk\">Liz.spruin@canterbury.ac.uk<\/a>) and Dr. Nicola Abbott (<a href=\"mailto:nicola.abbott@canterbury.ac.uk\">nicola.abbott@canterbury.ac.uk<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":118593,"featured_media":0,"parent":2,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-272","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/learninganddevelopment\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/272","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/learninganddevelopment\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/learninganddevelopment\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/learninganddevelopment\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/118593"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/learninganddevelopment\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=272"}],"version-history":[{"count":4,"href":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/learninganddevelopment\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/272\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":413,"href":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/learninganddevelopment\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/272\/revisions\/413"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/learninganddevelopment\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/2"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/learninganddevelopment\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=272"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
