Founded in AD 598 by St Augustine himself, this once-great abbey saw the rebirth of Christianity in southern England and was magnificently rebuilt by the Normans before becoming a Tudor royal palace at the Dissolution of the Monasteries. Today, visitors can explore the impressive ruins, museum, and audio tour at their own pace. To receive the discount, simply present a valid Tudors and Stuarts event ticket when purchasing admission at the Abbey. Children under 5 go free.
