Through academic and popular publications, academic and public conferences, lectures, study days and workshops, members of the Centre work with partners inside and outside academia to highlight the richness of Kent\u2019s past. Since 2016, the Centre has organised annual History Weekends on the Middle Ages and Tudors &amp; Stuarts, bringing a host of renowned historians and scholars to Canterbury to offer lectures and guided walks to an international public audience. Such events help the Centre to raise monies for the Ian Coulson Memorial Postgraduate Award Fund that provides financial assistance to those who wish to study aspects of Kent\u2019s history at Canterbury Christ Church University. Centre staff are also engaged in funded research and outreach projects collaborating with a wide range of academic and charitable institutions inside and outside Kent. The Centre\u2019s weekly blog provides news, reports and research, offering a treasure trove of material valued by its international following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Centre is run by the Co-Directors: Dr Claire Bartram and Dr Sheila Sweetinburgh with the assistance of Dr Diane Heath, Senior Research Fellow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre for Kent History and Heritage (CKHH) showcases the research of Historians, Literary Scholars and Archaeologists in the School of Humanities.
