Where do I even begin?<\/strong>

Okay, I know exactly where. Dancing is SO. MUCH. FUN.

Look, I am a terrible dancer. Like… truly tragic. But even I<\/em> had the time of my life. There were around 20-30 people in the studio, and the whole room was bursting with energy. So much clapping. So much laughing. So much chaos, the good kind. And the confidence I got from everyone cheering me on made me feel like I was Michael Jackson’s long-lost cousin. We learned a choreographed routine, it was super fun, super interesting, and honestly mind-blowing seeing all of us move in sync like a dancing army!

We also tried different styles, and warmed up in pairs to break the ice (which worked suspiciously well ).
After that warm-up, it felt like even if you’d been sad for weeks, that one hour could lift everything away and replace it with pure, unstoppable energy!

Confidence > Talent<\/strong>
Let me say it again: No, I didn’t do a “good job.”
BUT I walked out feeling proud, energized, and confident.
The dancers there were so supportive, kind, and loud with their encouragement that talent honestly didn’t matter. With people like that, you want to show up \u2014 even with questionable dance moves!

So if you want:<\/strong>
– a burst of energy
– a confidence boost
– to try something new + or to get better at dancing
Why not give it a try? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And just like that, we reach the end of the “Homi Tries” blog series. If my attempts made even one student think, “Hmm… maybe I’ll try that,” then I’ve achieved my mission, encouraging people.
We, you (the reader) and me, have created memories, achieved something meaningful, and left our mark on Canterbury Christ Church University. l’d honestly love to meet some of you in person one day. Meeting the readers of my blog would make my whole week!
