I’d even say it’s as challenging as climbing 🧗‍♂️ — because, well, you literally have to climb the pole and stay up there!

First Impressions: Strength, Balance, and Confidence ✨

What makes pole fitness different from climbing is not just the physical effort — it’s also about presentation and confidence. You’re not only trying to stay on the pole but also learning to look composed while doing it.

Let’s just say my face didn’t stay very calm at first 😅. But with the help of Juliette, the Vice President of the Pole Fitness Society, I managed to learn a basic routine (basic for them, definitely not for me!). It took a lot of effort and concentration, but by the end, I actually pulled it off — literally! 💪

Why You Should Try It 💃

If you think you could do a better job than me (and I’m sure many of you can 😄), I highly recommend trying pole fitness yourself. It’s not only a great full-body workout but also builds confidence, balance, and strength. You might end up loving it as much as I did!

The Competitive Side 🏆

The Pole Fitness team at my university is very active in varsity competitions. In fact, last year they won their match against the University of Kent! 🎉

So, if you’re interested in both the fun and competitive aspects of sports, this is a strong and supportive team you can join. Whether you’re a beginner like me or someone with experience, there’s always a place for you in the community.

Thanks for reading about my first pole fitness experience! 🙏
It was challenging, fun, and totally different from anything I’ve tried before. If you ever get the chance — go for it. You might surprise yourself! 🌟

Trying Pole Fitness for the First Time in the UK💪 Hello guys, it’s Homi again! 👋 This week, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try another […]

[1

post-5586","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-christ-church-sport
Trying Pole Fitness for the First Time in the UK💪 Hello guys, it’s Homi again! 👋 This week, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try another […]
["GET
