Local providers of disability sport activities were able to support the event with expert knowledge of how to make a session as inclusive as possible for everybody to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>Since the appointment of a student Inclusive Sports Ambassador in December 2014, Christ Church Sport has now run three Inclusive Sports Days in recent times in which the following activities have been delivered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Archery<\/li>\n<li>Boccia<\/li>\n<li>Goalball<\/li>\n<li>Powerchair Football<\/li>\n<li>Table Tennis<\/li>\n<li>Sitting Volleyball<\/li>\n<li>Walking Football<\/li>\n<li>Wheelchair Badminton<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-438 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/christchurchsport\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/526\/2016\/05\/13169957_1083349301688093_1031824023_o.jpg\" alt=\"13169957_1083349301688093_1031824023_o\" width=\"281\" height=\"158\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/christchurchsport\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/526\/2016\/05\/13169957_1083349301688093_1031824023_o.jpg 1136w, https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/christchurchsport\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/526\/2016\/05\/13169957_1083349301688093_1031824023_o-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/christchurchsport\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/526\/2016\/05\/13169957_1083349301688093_1031824023_o-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/christchurchsport\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/526\/2016\/05\/13169957_1083349301688093_1031824023_o-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.canterbury.ac.uk\/christchurchsport\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/526\/2016\/05\/13169957_1083349301688093_1031824023_o-680x383.jpg 680w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 281px) 100vw, 281px\" \/>Christ Church Sports\u2019 new gym refurbishment in December 2015 has also created a much more inclusive fitness environment with the acquisition of a range of equipment that is far more accessible for all users than ever before at the University.<\/p>\n<p>To help support the delivery of the Inclusive Sports Days, the first official Inclusive Sports Committee is currently being established which will feature a number of students and staff from across the institution.
