Build your resilience and coping skills with these tips&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Make some lifestyle changes to help you feel more able to cope with pressure. For example, use relaxation techniques like having a bath, listening to music or reading a good book; develop your interests and hobbies to get away from everyday pressures; make time for your friends &#8211; it can help you feel more positive and less isolated; and find balance in your life &#8211; focus some of your energy on other parts of your life, like friends or hobbies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Look after your physical health<\/strong> to help you manage stress and take care of your mental wellbeing. It\u2019s important to get good sleep &#8211; being well-rested can increase your ability to deal with difficult situations; be more physically active &#8211; physical activity is important for reducing stress levels; and eat healthily &#8211; what you eat, and when you eat, can make a big difference to how well you feel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Give yourself a break<\/strong> &#8211; be kinder to yourself. Reward yourself for achievements and get a change of scenery &#8211; go outside, go to the cinema or a caf\u00e9 for a break; take time off or have a holiday &#8211; time away from your routine can help you relax and feel refreshed; and forgive yourself when you make a mistake or don&#8217;t achieve something you hoped for.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Use your support network<\/strong> &#8211; you don&#8217;t have to cope alone.
