Must not lie down… must not… zzz

This week my tip was to sit or stand when watching TV instead of lying down.

At the start of the week my task was too easy, but as the evening draws on the urge to lie down gets stronger. I found it especially difficult when binge watching my favourite show or a movie. My reasoning was, if you want to lie down, you’re too tired to be watching tv anyway. So this week has been a series of early nights, and I have to say I feel great for it. Now the clocks have changed it’s lighter and I can get more done in the morning. Standing while watching tv was convenient when I knew I shouldn’t get comfy. Such as when cooking dinner and making sure the pasta doesn’t boil over. Mid-week I changed the furniture around so it was easier to sit up straight all the time instead of slouching into the armrest, which quickly turned into lying down. I’d recommend looking at where your furniture is and making sure its optimal for your viewing pleasure, and improve your posture.

Overall, what are you waiting for? Easiest Tip so far, less heartburn after dinner and early nights. What could be better?
