The day focuses on raising the profile of women who are changing the field of engineering one degree at a time. It has been recognized by UNESCO and is a befitting tribute for the anniversary of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wes.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Women\u2019s Engineering Society (WES)\">Women\u2019s Engineering Society (WES)<\/a>, which was established on June 23, 1919.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Businesses can support females entering the industry or support those already in employment, by offering them an apprenticeship in engineering.
