Business partners, staff, and students are invited to join the Enterprise and Engagement team on the third<\/a> of four themed walks throughout our Jubilee year. Take this opportunity to network and find out more about the University, its collaborations, and its facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re invited > Autumn hops<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Join us on 7th September for an opportunity to make new connections, network and learn more about how we make our homegrown, Green Hops Ale. <\/strong> <\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme for this walk is hops. With Autumn on the horizon, it\u2019s a time when we welcome new students to the University and our annual harvest begins. On the day, help us gather the hops at the Christ Church hop garden, followed by a free self-guided tour of St. Augustine\u2019s Abbey before walking to the Foundry, in Canterbury City centre, for a free beer <\/strong>where you will hear about how these fine plants reach their ultimate potential! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hop picking starts from 9.30am, followed by the visit to St. Augustine\u2019s Abbey at 11.00am and the Foundry at 12.30pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where to meet:<\/strong>\u202fAt the front of the Verena Holmes Building, accessible by foot from North Holmes Road or Longport, Canterbury <\/p>\n\n\n\n
