The team issues invites, manages all graduation related communications and RSVPS and liaises with honorary graduates, VIPs and academic staff. The team arranges all pre and post event logistics with internal departments, external suppliers and venues and ensures the smooth running of the events themselves.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a steward your role can include the following:<br \/>\n\u2022Assisting with setting-up and clearing down of the cathedral\/campus<br \/>\n\u2022Assisting with car parking<br \/>\n\u2022Marshalling of graduands &amp; guests at the cathedral\/campus and in town<br \/>\n\u2022Registration of graduands<br \/>\n\u2022Assisting with robes &amp; photography<br \/>\n\u2022Checking guest tickets<br \/>\n\u2022Showing guests &amp; staff to their seats<br \/>\n\u2022Assisting with live streaming of ceremonies<br \/>\n\u2022Assisting with celebratory drinks<br \/>\n\u2022Answering general enquiries<\/p>\n<p><strong>Events will take place on the following (please note you will not be expected to work every event):<\/strong><br \/>\n12th and 13th September 2017<br \/>\n18th November 2017<br \/>\n26th January 2018<br \/>\n2nd February 2018<br \/>\n24th March 2018<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rate of pay: \u00a38.45<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Holiday pay: \u00a31.02<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in applying for this job or finding out about other employment opportunities available, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unitemps.com\/\">www.unitemps.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Unitemps is the University\u2019s dedicated recruitment service for students, graduates and the local community.
