The project team have created the bespoke (and free!) \u2018Get Hired!\u2019 training programme and we can\u2019t wait to tell you about it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking place in February and March&nbsp;2022, the programme is comprised of 5 core topics across 7 sessions focussing on building strengths, enabling a growth mindset, knowing what to expect, and ensuring complete preparedness for the graduate recruitment cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Session 1 \u2013 Who Do You Think You Are?<\/strong><br>Growth mindset, resilience, and overcoming imposter syndrome<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Gain insight into your own mindset; understand how it impacts your behaviours and results<\/li><li>Understand what Imposter Syndrome is and realise we all share it<\/li><li>We\u2019ll share all the tips and tactics to help you change your mindset and overcome any feelings of inadequacy and develop self-worth<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Session 2 \u2013 Belbin Team Roles<\/strong><br>How well do you know yourself?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Find out about your professional strengths &amp; where they could add value to an organisation<\/li><li>Discover how to manage our weaknesses<\/li><li>Free Belbin Get Set report with personal guidance and advice<\/li><li>How to apply this personalised info to graduate job applications<\/li><li>1-1 appointment with an accredited Belbin trainer to make sense of your new findings<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Session 3 \u2013 The Recruitment Cycle Part 1<\/strong><br>A comprehensive look into the graduate recruitment process<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Attend this three-part course which covers the recruitment process from the beginning of the job hunt through to job hunting success<\/li><li>Sessions will provide in-depth advice for building a CV and writing a covering letter<\/li><li>In-depth advice regarding interviews, assessments and next steps after a post-interview decision (success vs. rejection)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Session 4 \u2013 The Story of You: Personal Branding<br><\/strong>Discovering your values and building your personal brand<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Understand the key components of a \u2018personal brand\u2019<\/li><li>Learn to identify what your personal values are<\/li><li>Differentiate between offline and online branding<\/li><li>Gain top tips for maintaining clean, professional social media on all key platforms<\/li><li>Get comfortable with sharing \u2018the story of you\u2019 with elevator pitches<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Session 5 \u2013 The Recruitment Cycle Part 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Session 6 \u2013 The Recruitment Cycle Part 3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Session 7 \u2013 Professionalism In The Workplace<br><\/strong>How to demonstrate professionalism in the graduate workplace<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Learn and understand what professionalism is and why it is important in the graduate workplace<\/li><li>Understand how to demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of the graduate workplace (e.g. from email to meetings)<\/li><li>Understand how to deal with conflict and workplace issues professionally<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to these core sessions, there is also a curation of optional bonus sessions. Those enrolled on the programme are under no obligation to attend these, however, if you do, you will be rewarded for it \u2013 completion of all core sessions nets you a <strong>\u00a320 gift voucher<\/strong>, and with bonus topics this bumps up to \u00a325.
