John Clague RIBA produced a Herne Bay newsreel annually between 1935 and 1970. This clip comes from his 1938 newsreel which was shot on 9.5mm film. John was a keen amateur filmmaker who lived in Herne Bay but worked in Canterbury where he set up Clague Architects.

Yes, I have quite a bit of film showing fundraising at Strode Park in the 1960s. I will post this at some point in the future.
