The Dover Stage Coach Hotel taken in the 1960s by Peter Mills who started making films in 1951 when he got a 9.5mm camera for his 21st birthday. He became one of the key members of the Canterbury Amateur Cine Society Film Unit.

  1. Ahh. The iconic, handsome Dover Stage, stilts and all. It was so striking that we chose it for our pre-wedding drinks, knowing that the out-of-towners couldn’t miss it.
    Which idiots tore it down ?
