It is within these environments that our students are given the opportunity to bring together the theory that they have learned within the classroom into the real word. From the beginning our aim has been to ensure that we are improving the experiences and outcomes of our Black, Asian, Mixed Heritage and Other Minoritised Ethnic students to create a positive learning environment in which students can thrive and that placement providers can feel empowered. Moreover, it is our desire to create an environment of allyship, collective solidarity and intentional inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the Bridging the Gap to Leadership we have co-created with our students and worked collaboratively with NHS Trusts and other key placements providers to provide a holistic approach to learning both within the classroom and the practice learning environment. The project has demonstrated significant positive impact on our students, academics and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Impact on our Students <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>\u2018My favourite aspect of the experience was seeing the development and growth of the other students.
