Research Event: Digital Heritage and Interactive Storytelling

CCCU Staff and Students are invited to a research session exploring Digital Heritage and Interactive Storytelling at Turner Contemporary in Margate on Thursday, October 24th. This interactive and collaborative session will use the development of a digital reconstruction of the Nayland Rock Shelter as a starting point. T.S. Eliot wrote part of The Waste Land in this listed seafront shelter just above the Margate Sands during the winter of 1921. Over the course of the day, we will consider creative ways of interpreting and expressing heritage spaces (not only Nayland Rock) and the potential to connect to different audiences, whilst inviting suggestions for future projects, innovations, and collaborations.

Ideas for brief presentations related to the themes above can be sent to Katie McGown (katie.mcgown@canterbury.ac.uk) by Monday, Sept 30th.
