
This award recognises and celebrates our alumni who have gone above and beyond to make a positive impact in the local community and who have contributed their time and talents for the enrichment of others, and the betterment of society.
Criteria
An alumnus* who:
- Is a champion for social change, social good or social mobility, making a positive contribution to their community or an impact on society through their professional, voluntary or charitable activities, unlocking and nurturing opportunity for others.
- Has demonstrated determination and motivation while enriching the lives of others and has shown genuine passion and enthusiasm for making a difference through their chosen cause.
- Can demonstrate the tangible, transformative impact of their work.
- Has received external recognition/praise for their work.
- Is an inspiring role model, mentor or committed to supporting the next generation by being inclusive, supportive, ethical, innovative or compassionate.

I would like to nominate Dellanie Nash as Alumni community hero award for cancer awareness. Her unwavering dedication has inspired our community. Her passion and commitment to raise awareness have made a profound impact. She is a true hero, she has empowered countless individuals and families facing this journey by sharing Maya’s cancer Journey .
I would like to nominate Dellanie Nash. She continues to be an inspiration to everyone with her positivity and her capacity to help and support other people, even despite the huge difficulties she is facing as her daughter is once again suffering from neuroblastoma and undergoing extensive treatment.

I wish to nominate Dellanie Nash who is amazing and a real inspiration in all that she does. Dellanie has raised awareness of childrens cancers while looking after her daughter Maya who is equally amazing. Dellanie manages all this while treating her patients in her professional role with care and compassion.
